Andy Warhol Museum of Modern Art
The Andy Warhol Museum of Modern Art in Medzilaborce was set up on the 1st of September 1991, as the world first and the only European museum devoted to Andy Warhol, his origin, life and work. In addition to its exhibition activity, the Museum runs educational, advisory, publication and research activities on modern art and museum education. Four permanent exhibitions are on display:
- Exhibition of Andy Warhol’s works,
- Exhibition on Andy Warhol’s origin,
- Exhibition: Street-art vs. pop-art,
- A long-term exhibition of Blanka Jakubčíkova artworks.
