Museum of Ukrainian Culture
The Museum of Ukrainian Culture in Svidník is a state institution, with the mission to document the milestones in the cultural and historical development of the Ukrainians in Slovakia from the earliest times up to the present. The Museum was set up in Prešov in 1956. It was moved to Svidník in 1964. There it developed its activity in collecting exhibits, research and study, publication, culture and education.
