Military Cemetery in the Hunkovce
The cemetery dating to the times of the Second World War is situated at the entry to the village of Hunkovce on the left to the road to Svidník. In 1994, the cemetery was renovated on the basis of a bilateral agreement, partly by the German War Graves Commission. Then in 1995, it was consecrated. More than 3100 German soldiers who fell in the Carpatho-Dukla Operation are buried there.
